Golf Course Reviews
During my travels I will be visiting some of the best golf courses in each country. I will give my personal review of each course on their beauty, playability, guest services, and overall experience. What is different about my reviews? I will give insight through a professionals eye, but also keeping my students of all abilities in mind to produce a review that will help you choose the best courses that match your needs and desires. Golf during travel should be fun, and my aim is to give you all the information on the courses to allow you to pick those that are perfect for you.

BA NA HILLS GOLF CLUB - Da Nang, Vietnam
Located just 25 minutes inland from Da Nang city nestled in the foothills of the Ba Na Mountains, this recently opened gem is the first design by former world number one tour star Luke Donald. It is easy to see that Donald majored in Art at Northwestern University as his first attempt at design resulted in a true masterpiece.

THE BLUFFS HO TRAM STRIP - Ba Ria, Vung Tau, Vietnam
Located approximately 120 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City on Vietnam's southern coastline, this unique links masterpiece was handsomely created amongst towering sand dunes and native grasses by former world number one and Hall of Fame golfer Greg Norman. With the entire meticulously conditioned course built on a coastal plateau with elevation changes and sweeping panoramic views, it is no surprise that the layout was just rated 74th on Golf Digest's Top 100 golf courses worldwide.

Set in the heart of the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka, the Royal Colombo Golf Club and its park like setting is like a sanctuary in the middle of this busy traffic laden capital. This is the oldest of the three golf courses in Sri Lanka as it was founded in 1879, and was given the prefix of "Royal" by King George V in 1928 making it one of the 64 official golf clubs with Royal bestowed to them by a member of the United Kingdom royal family.

ONE BOAT CLUB - Ascension Island, Saint Helena
I had the opportunity to visit Ascension Island, a small volcanic island located just south of the Equator and about 1000 miles off the coast of Africa. Not the ideal place to find a golf course but with the One Boat Golf Club boasting to be the World's Worst Golf Course, I knew I had to check it out.
HOLMAN GOLF CLUB - Ulukhaktok, Northwest Territories
I could not believe my luck when I heard that my work (The World Residences at Sea) would be conducting an expedition transiting the Northwest Passage from Greenland to Nome Alaska making its way across the top of Canada. I would be seeing a part of my homeland I never thought possible and along this route would be a golf outing like no other.
